Mashang Diary Net is almost one year old now, and I’ve basically stuck with it for a year. My goal is: as long as nothing goes wrong, I will keep at it.
Last year I bought a server on Baidu Cloud. The first year was really cost-effective; a 2-core, 4G, 1M plan for only 100 per year, not 998, only 100!

I originally wanted to migrate it out to Hong Kong. But after thinking about it, domestic servers are better; even the worst Hong Kong option would cost 30 per month, 360 per year, and the configurations are even lower than domestic providers.
So with the filing, I’m still reluctant to abandon domestic servers. This filing isn’t the first one, so there’s no need to take the site offline.
But for peace of mind, I still plan to close the comments section. Because last time the filing required closure, otherwise it would be sent back for re-review.

Waiting for half a month; this time I bought an Alibaba Cloud machine, a lightweight server for 108 per year. 2 cores, 2G, 3M peak, but renewals are still the old problem—too expensive, around 708.
Next I’m still planning to wage guerrilla warfare; when one expires I’ll switch to another. There are Huawei Cloud, Tianyi Cloud, Tencent Cloud, etc., to hunt for deals; ensuring a five-year survival period should be no problem haha.
The annoying part is that I need to reconfigure a few things. The old server has quite a few fun Docker projects, I can only redeploy them.
June is almost here; unless something unexpected happens, I’ll start an internship and begin the corporate slave life by the end of June. Finally, I wish fellow bloggers a happy June in advance!
