The 'Zhejiang Speed' of Parking Spaces!
The Parking Space Problem, Zhejiang Speed!
In a previous post, I wrote about the issue of chaotic parking. I was really furious; the next morning I called the 12345 Mayor Hotline to complain about people occupying illegal lanes and fire exits within the community.
I was a little worried this might reveal my real identity, so I asked: "This can be anonymous, right? You won't hand my phone number to the property management, will you?" I received a definite answer; the operator even told me her employee ID, saying they would not record any information. This is really awesome; I dare say 95% of city call-center operators wouldn't proactively report it.
I hadn't expected this kind of thing would really be solved; I just wanted to catch my breath because the property management's lawlessness is normal and there's basically no way to regulate them.
On May Day, when I went home, I suddenly saw a notice posted at the entrance, which was really a pleasant surprise. Then I found that the driveways inside the community had improved a lot. I drove around a loop, and there was basically no illegal or chaotic parking. Zhejiang is awesome, Ningbo is awesome!
I wonder how long good things will last...

Little Pouch
This May Day holiday, I worked part-time again at a jewelry store for three days. A while back the manager went on a business trip to Shenzhen to discuss orders, and on the way back to her hometown in Putian, she brought me a small pouch containing a talisman she obtained.
Because Putian is a place with multiple religions coexisting, there are many beliefs such as Buddhism, Taoism, the Three-One Teachings, and Mazu. They have worshiped from childhood, but don’t know exactly which deity they worship; there is indeed a faith in their hearts. (“Bai bai” means: on festive days or days honoring the gods, when praying (Buddha) or paying respects (to the deceased), it’s a kind of ritual.)
This is what the manager told me, haha, because she told me she has prayed since childhood, but she isn’t really sure what exactly she believes in, which is quite magical.
On April 11 I posted an article about dreams (it’s locked). It’s really mystical; the dream content wasn’t great—someone had died, and at 4 a.m. it woke me up. I messaged that person on WeChat, and she actually replied immediately; her heart seemed to skip a beat as well. It felt very uncomfortable; there was something in my heart. Are we related by blood? Maybe we really do share a heart connection.
That day I spoke with the manager, and she was also very surprised. Coincidentally, on this trip home, she blessed me, gave me a small talisman, wishing me smooth sailing and protection by the gods. I’m really grateful. Oh, and during summer break she also gave me a jade Pixiu; I’ll write an article about it someday; it’s quite beautiful! I’ve been wearing it for a long time.
I really like it; no doubt this little pouch will become my constant companion, traveling with me to many cities, hoping to bring me good luck~

The meaning of meeting beauty is that you gain more strength to experience life, and you should treasure it.
Procrastination
Recently I signed up for driving school, planning to take the driving test. I need my ID card, which has always stayed at the school. I can commute to the nearby school weekly. On Monday at 8 a.m. I noticed the ID and remembered this, because my class starts early and I was in a rush; I planned to finish the class and come back to tidy it up and shove it into my bag.
As a result, I kept forgetting it; really kept forgetting. In fact, at the time I could have easily tucked it away, but procrastination is the problem; I tend to put everything off.
It’s quite embarrassing; I had arranged with the instructor to sign up, but I stood them up and pushed it to the next week.
My own advice to myself: Do what you think of; don’t delay; if you truly don’t have time, note it in a to-do list and revisit later.
