As you can see, if you are an old user of the website, you will find that the original Diary has suddenly changed its appearance. The original server operating system was CentOS. In the group chat, some big shot said CentOS would eventually be eliminated and was no longer suitable for the times. After two days of consideration, I decided to switch to Ubuntu, and happened to meet mx-space, developed by the big shot innei; I fell in love at first sight, and immediately decided to switch together.
So, on the morning of September 5th, I reformatted the server and reinstalled Ubuntu, and it went very smoothly to install the mx-space system. But a big problem arose—what about my site's article data and comment data?!?
I immediately asked for help in the group; a senior sent me a GitHub link. Opening it, I saw it was a Python script that could transfer Typecho blog post data to the new system, but after looking at it I realized I wouldn’t know how to use the Python script, and after reading through a lot of materials I still couldn't understand.
The most important thing for the website is data; we can't let the site stay down for too long. I immediately decided to manually add more than 20 posts and nearly 300 comments... I suddenly felt the importance of technology...

Then this scene happened: all of the site's comments took around five hours. So sad; manually exporting data took at least four hours, there's no way—the newbie can only use the dumbest method.
In our school, graduation has a condition: 8 credits and 40 study hours. Credits are relatively easy to obtain; there are weekly reviews to earn points. But study hours are really hard to obtain; the way to earn study hours is volunteering—1 hour equals 1 point, which means doing 40 hours of volunteering.
Now is the year of the pandemic, the campus is locked down every day, so there aren't many on-campus volunteer activities. Throughout freshman year, my study hours were only 11, far from 40. This year is my sophomore year; I started to panic and actively participate in anything that grants study hours. And the annual orientation is the best activity to earn study hours.
The so-called orientation is to greet new students; it's a physical labor job, helping to move luggage. Waking up at 7 a.m. and busy until 4 p.m., a total of 9 hours, 9 study hours. One activity basically equals my previous year's study hours...
Last year I was indeed too lazy; this year I have to be a bit more diligent. I won't write more now; the lights are about to go out; I'm so tired; going to sleep early today...
